All healthcare professionals in Illinois, including dentists and dental hygienists, are required to complete a one-hour course in implicit bias awareness training. Implicit bias is a form of bias that occurs automatically and unintentionally, that nevertheless affects judgements, decisions, and behaviors. This requirement will be in effect for the 2024 renewal cycle. Dr. Tsipursky’s expertise comes from over 20 years of consulting, coaching, speaking, and training for innovative startups, major nonprofits, and Fortune 500 companies.
