Based on an emergency proclamation issued by the Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulations, Illinois dentists are allowed administer the COVID-19 vaccine in the dental office once they have take the proper course. Illinois dentists are also allowed to administer the influenza vaccine in the dental office after they have taken the proper training.
