Each year, the ADA puts out new codes, along with edits to codes, that can affect how we plan our treatment and our opportunities for insurance reimbursement. This course will examine these changes to the CDT codes and terminology and evaluate when and how to apply these changes practically. We will also look at other coding opportunities to improve the overall fee for service and PPO Insurance reimbursement.
Learning Objectives:
• To learn about what CDT codes were edited and added
• To establish best practices as to when and how you use each code
• How to maximize productivity and reimbursement when using codes
